The electronic gadget twists your alpha, beta, delta, and theta brain waves. We give you proof right here that this is another technique that has its roots in the occult!

We first discovered the Mind Muscle Machine at the Arnold Classic exhibit hall where Frank Zane had a booth displaying his photos and books for sale. We picked up the information that he had available for the Mind Muscle machine. Here are some details of the Mind Muscle Machine that Frank Zane has put in his brochure:

The procedure is simple: Sit in a comfortable chair or lie down, select a cassette, start your cassette player and light/sound mini-computer, put on your headphones and LED glasses, close your eyes, and enter a mesmerizing cyberspace.

Plug in the tiny microphone and witness a dazzling light show through closed eyelids from any music source.

Light show operates manually with user-friendly dials from beta for energizing, alpha for meditation, down to theta and delta waves for deep relaxation and falling asleep.

Here are some descriptions of the cassette tapes that Frank Zane has created for use with the Mind Muscle Machine. Frank explains that: "These tapes contain binaural beat frequencies that drive the light display of the Mind Muscle Machine"

Frank says his GET STRONGER tape is "Great to use with the Mind Muscle Machine before your workouts to get into the zone where workouts become magic!"

Notice his choice of words?... "where workouts become MAGIC!"

Zane has titled one of his specially designed tapes MAGIC PUMP. Frank explains what makes these tapes so special: "DICHOTIC Audiotapes employ a unique method in which you listen to 2 messages at the same time, one in each ear, that come together at times to give you powerful suggestions..."

Frank also offers THE TRAIN WITH ZANE AUDIO CASSETTES that he says: "Listening through headphones with your Walkman puts me inside your head..."

A very tiny disclaimer on the bottom of the brochure as well as on his website where he sells these devices states:

"People with epilepsy or seizure disorders should NOT use the Mind Muscle Machine."

Frank notes in his "Building the Body" spring 1999 newsletter: "Light that flickers at certain rates or frequencies can have various behavioral and emotional effects on the body...

Zane says that theta waves produce "drowsiness and imagery accompanied by a hypnotic state"

In an interview conducted by T.C. Luoma in the October 1993 MUSCLEMAG magazine Frank Zane stated:
"I wear one of the brain-wave synchronizers on the stationary bike, and it transports me into another realm."

When asked: "Do you read medical journals and try to keep up with new developments?"

Zane answered: "Well, I do...Right now I'm interested in the use of sound to alter states of consciousness...These audio tapes I created are based on all those principles...I'm also interested in how light impulses affect brain-wave activity...

When asked: "Do you spend a lot of time studying Eastern philosophy?"

Zane answered: "I don't study as much as I used to. There are different sources of knowledge. A lot of my ideas are directly intuitive now, from meditative-type stuff -- the mental technology, the light-sound machine and audio tapes. I go into periods of deep relaxation and I solve all sorts of problems and come up with creative solutions and even inventions. They come to me as visual images."

Let me side-step just a moment before getting back to this interview with Zane and Musclemag. I want to take a closer look at this "THEY" whom Zane says comes to him as "VISUAL IMAGES" and provide him with his ideas and help him "SOLVE ALL SORTS OF PROBLEMS."

Former top new age leader Randall N. Baer says that the images that came to him were actually demons. On page 54 of his book titled "Inside The New Age Nightmare" he writes:

"In my New Age days, I was quite adept at inducing and expanding the limits of mystical and out-of-body experiences...I would mount myself up with all kinds of New Age inventions...and then thrust myself into trance-induced higher states of consciousness. It would feel like I was being transported by winged angels and loving forces to an incredible variety of dazzling extra-natural domains. The sensation of my spirit being released from earthbound bodily restrictions and freed to roam the unlimited expanses of the cosmos was breathtaking. Here it was, the freedom, the light, and the truth that I had been searching for all my life. I had found the keys that opened the heavens before my very eyes.

"But the ultimate seduction had overtaken me: What I thought was "up" was actually "down." What I thought was "heaven" was actually "hell" wrapped in Satan's finest counterfeit garments. What I thought were Ascended Masters, extraterrestrials, and angels were actually demons in cunning, glowing disguises."

(MUSCLE MISSIONS NOTE: Much like former New Ager Randall Baer, Zane admitts to getting knowledge from the visual images that come to him while wearing the light sound machine. Zane said: "They come to me as visual images.")

The Holy Bible tells us:

II Corinthians 10: 4 and 5 tells us: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ

Now let's take a closer look to see how the sound and light technology actually has roots in the occult. The following information was written by Michael Hutchison titled: Time Flashes: A short history of sound and light technology:

Regarding light he writes:

"The knowledge that a flickering light can cause mysterious visual hallucinations and alterations in consciousness is something humans have known since the discovery of fire. It must have been knowledge of great value to the ancient shamans and poets, who learned how to use the images in the flames to enhance their magic."

Regarding sound he writes:

"Similarly, humans had always been enthralled by the effects of rhythmic sounds, and aware of the mind-altering and brain wave entrainment effects of rhythmic noises, as evidenced for example by the sophisticated auditory-driving techniques developed over thousands of years by shamans and priests."

(MUSCLE MISSIONS NOTE: In case you don't already know, a shaman is defined by dictionary.com as "A member of certain tribal societies who acts as a medium between the visible world and an invisible spirit world and who practices magic or sorcery for purposes of healing, divination, and control over natural events.")

Regarding sound and light together he writes:

"Ancient rituals for entering trance states often involved both rhythmic sounds in the form of drumbeats, clapping or chanting, and flickering lights produced by candles, torches, bonfires or long lines of human bodies rhythmically dancing, their forms passing before the fire and chopping the light into mesmerizing rhythmic flashes."

The Holy Bible tells us:

There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.-Deuteronomy 18:10,11(KJV)

This form of magic that has been practiced by shamans for thousand of years has been repackaged for the 21st century in the form of these electronic gadgets. The fire and drum beats have been replaced with a newer more sophisticated delivery method like the Mind Muscle Machine that Frank Zane peddles. 

The Bible continues to tell us that those who participate in such practices anger the Lord and will be driven out:

And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
